Project Portfolio
Dozens of projects are being carried out simultaneously at the FUBA R&D Center. These projects cover a wide range, from early-stage material research to certification-ready product development processes. Among the projects conducted by the center, TÜBİTAK-supported national R&D projects and multi-national, multi-partner international collaboration projects stand out.
Featured Projects
Card 1 — New Generation CBRN Mask and Filter
Designed to provide superior protection against Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats, this project includes the redesign of both the mask body and the filter system using domestic resources. A critical technology transfer for the defense and security sector is targeted.
Card 2 — 30 and 60-Minute Oxygen Self-Rescuer Mask
Offering the user the opportunity to breathe for 30 or 60 minutes with an independent oxygen source in emergency evacuation scenarios, this project is of vital importance, especially for underground mining and industrial emergency response areas. It is one of the primary outputs of the collaboration carried out with TÜBİTAK MAM.
Card 3 — Carbon Monoxide Filter
Aiming to develop an effective, lightweight, and easy-to-use filter system against carbon monoxide gas—one of the most common lethal hazards in fire and industrial accident scenarios—the project aims to offer a solution that can be integrated into existing respiratory protection systems.
Card 4 — Emergency Escape Mask for Civilians
Adapting the technical expertise in equipment designed for professional users to civilian use, this project aims to develop a compact and accessible escape mask that even an untrained user can easily use in urban emergencies such as earthquakes, fires, and chemical leaks.
Collaborations and Project Models
FUBA R&D Center carries out national-scale projects within the framework of TÜBİTAK programs, as well as developing multi-national, multi-partner R&D projects with research institutions and industrial partners from different countries. This model simultaneously strengthens both the center's contribution to domestic technology production and its international competitiveness.
