As MFA Maske, we set out from Zonguldak in 2008 with the slogan "Turkey's Healthy Breath". In this process, we have gained the trust of the Turkish industry with our product and service quality, as well as exporting to many countries of the world, especially Europe. As a result of our hard work and efforts, we took part as a Zonguldak company in the award ceremony named "Turkey's Flyers" with our export performance in 2020. We were proud to be on the "Gold List" in the ranking of the highest exporting companies in 2021 published by IHKIB, the exporters' association we are affiliated with in Istanbul. For our company, being among the companies of Zonguldak that gain national and international brand value creates a great sense of pride, motivation and responsibility.

THE NAME OF THE FUTURE IN ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT: ZONGULDAK

Zonguldak has been known as the "Capital of Labor" in our country for years. With its coal mines and heroic miners, with its very important industrial organizations in many fields from steel to ceramics, from energy to furniture, from food to cement and construction materials, with its people struggling with the harsh conditions and nature of the Black Sea, Zonguldak is a city that has always produced value and has been able to overcome difficulties.

Zonguldak, which has an important and valuable place in the history of the Republic, especially in the field of industrialization, has become the actor of new and important projects of the country's development in recent years. Our city is a candidate to become the new center of energy and logistics in Turkey with giant investments such as Filyos Port, Filyos Industrial Zone, Black Sea Natural Gas storage and distribution center. In parallel with these developments, we can foresee that Zonguldak will be a new center of attraction in the commercial and touristic field of the region. This will make our city competitive in many other areas.

MFA ZONGULDAK SPORTS CLUB ESTABLISHED: ZONGULDAK'S 2ND LEAGUE VOLLEYBALL JOURNEY WILL CONTINUE

We sincerely believe that this potential of Zonguldak can turn into a success story that will grow in sports, social, cultural and artistic projects. With this belief, we have decided that it would be right to be involved in sports activities with positive results in physical, mental and social areas and to support our young people in sports.

Last year in the Women's Volleyball League season, the women's volleyball team of Çaydeğirmeni Municipality Sports Club had qualified to compete in the National 2nd Volleyball League in Turkey by going undefeated to the next level. The success and story of these girls impressed us. Because, just like in production and business, women are also disadvantaged in sports. Especially in Anatolia, this situation is much more common. With the withdrawal of our municipality this season, we wanted to support this team, which does not have the financial means to continue its journey, on behalf of Zonguldak and all women from Zonguldak, and to give them the opportunity to achieve new successes.

This is also in line with our current company policies. As MFA MASKE, we apply positive discrimination to female employees. As of today, 85% of MFA MASKE's workforce consists of women. These rates are valid not only in production but also in management and administrative levels. We see in the field that high female employment not only contributes to business life but also reflects positively on business environments.

Therefore, it was not difficult for us to make the decision to support the most successful women's volleyball team in the city of Zonguldak by making positive discrimination against female athletes in the sports field and to give hope to our girls. In this process, Mr. We would like to thank Mr. Orhan YAZICI, the provincial director of DSI and the executives of DSI Sports Club for their support and cooperation with us. With their support and efforts, we have achieved full cooperation for the team to compete under the name of MFA Zonguldak Sports in the new season. In this process, which DSI personally supported, we were encouraged by the positive contributions of our Zonguldak Governor, our Deputies, our Mayor, the Provincial Directorate of Youth Sports and valuable opinion leaders. We believe that these positive approaches have given confidence and strength to the technical team and the team. We believe that this team will be a source of hope for young girls from Zonguldak.

8-10 OCTOBER THERE IS A TOURNAMENT IN ZONGULDAK!!!

As a team, we have started the preparations for the new season fast. We played friendly matches with Ankara DSI Sports and Karayolları Sports in Ankara in the past days. In addition, within the scope of the Amateur Sportsmen's Week, we have decided to start an important tournament that we call the 'Coal Girls Preparatory Tournament', which we want to make traditional in the coming years. We will soon share the calendar of this tournament, where we will host important and valuable clubs in our city between October 8-10. I would like to thank the Provincial Directorate of Youth Sports for making this tournament possible.

Finally, our MFA Zonguldak Sports Club Women's Volleyball team, 2021 - 2022 Turkey Women's Volleyball 2nd League, in cooperation with DSI, they promised to represent the people of Zonguldak with pride and excitement and to put all their strength on the field. At this point, we have full confidence and support for our Volleyball Team Technical Team and athletes. We believe that you will wholeheartedly support the "Coal Girls" who desire success and represent the city. The possible success of this team will be a source of hope and strength for those coming from behind.

With this decision, MFA will continue to struggle by producing for the economy of our region and our country, especially Zonguldak, while on the other hand, MFA Zonguldak Sports Club will strive to work with great faith for sports projects that contribute to our youth in Zonguldak.

The management of MFA Zonguldak Sports Club may be professionally with us, but their success will belong to all Zonguldak people. Let's give strength to our youth and children together.

We wish that our new club will be auspicious and auspicious to all Zonguldak people and the sports world, and that it will make young people hope again.
